If God is, in fact, in existence, and in and of Himself the very definition of love, why then would He ever allow evil things to transpire? Why does He not try a little harder and reveal Himself to the perishing world, and in doing so, prevent evil from ruining mankind? Surely people could be vetoed from burning in Hell if God only showed us, so that there was absolutely no uncertainty, that He was real; and Heaven and Hell likewise.
How can I, even as a Christian, not be forced to doubt a supposed all-loving God when every day I am told to look at nature to see His great love, yet all I can think of is some poor child in a third world country with a parasite living inside his eye, causing him to go blind?
