Somewhat of a favourite past-time of mine is watching the sunrise on New Year’s day. And, welcoming in the new decade this year wasn’t just a terrific sunrise, but a wistful moon-set as well.
Moments of silent splendour like these make you remember just how fleeting time here on earth really is–a breath on the wind, the whistle of a boiling kettle, the jangle of a school bell, the slamming of a door, the ripple of a stone hitting still water . . . *ahem*
But however mysterious and short life is, it’s well worth appreciating, yes?
