Ever since receiving eye surgery two months ago, I have been marveling at the amazing blessing it is not to be myopic anymore. And the one thing I will never tire of doing now is taking walks at night and looking up at the incredible sky, overflowing with trillions upon trillions of stars and constellations and mind-blowing vastness — all of which are not a blurry abstraction to look at anymore.
Determined to capture this awe-inspiring and altogether inspirational scene, I armed myself with my trusty camera, a shutter remote, a tripod and a really warm hoodie and tracked my way into the cold night.
This is what I captured, and I hope it inspires you as it does me.
