Trying to Find its End
It was like trying to find
a haystack inside a needle
I stretched a strand of string
to the moon
and back a dozen times
It was like trying to find
a key inside a locked chest
I sailed to the ends
of the earth
and back a dozen times
It was like trying to find
hay and stubble inside gold
I ran to the end
of the rainbow
and back a dozen times
It was like trying to watch
the sun set in the dawn
I swam to the depths
of the sea
and back a dozen times
It was like trying to pour
fire over water
So your love
could not be measured
Its mysterious end
could not be found

Hey Stephen, just wanted to say I enjoyed your Velvet Elvis article on Delve. Is there some way to add comments in so we can get feedback or people can contact the writers??
It was good that you ahve added your blog link to your profile so i could find it.
Would you be able to add mine in to my profile as well??
Good job Stephen, that book sounds very interesting. And I LOVED the Shack too. Life changing if controversial. But I think the people that focussed on the unusual bits of the story e.g. God in the form of a black woman, I’m guessing?) missed the whole point and missed out on some amazing life-altering truths
Simone,
Thanks for commenting! Yes, I very much enjoyed Velvet Elvis, even as much as The Shack (although, I probably preferred TS more than VE as it was written as a fictional story.)
At the moment Delve has no area for comments as I would prefer to keep it with the appearance of an online magazine as opposed to the look and feel of a blog. I might put comments on in the future if there’s enough request for it, but I’m hoping any discussion will be held over on Facebook.
Your profile has got a direct link to your blog where it says your name. If you would prefer it to be changed to say the name of the blog as well, just let me know and I’ll reword it.
Take care,
Stephen
